WE all are agning, which can be especially visible on our faces. But there are many ways to help us maintain a youthful glow.
Examples are:
- Use sunscreen whenever you go out in the sun,
- Do not smoke, as it can accelerate the formation of wrinkles,
- Have healthy diet (including the diet variety of fresh fruits and vegetables)
- Drink plenty of water (mineral)
- Use skin moisturizers to keep skin smooth and well moisturized.
With the inevitable passage of time – because our skin becomes less elastic, wrinkles and recess appears. This is a normal symptom of aging, which can not be prevented by artificial ways indefinitely. Consider, however, like our wrinkles are received by the environment? They can make it look more tired, angry or older than we really are. What’s more, wrinkles are often associated with negative emotions, which we all want to avoid.
There are two main factors affecting the face aging:
- Dynamic wrinkles, which are the result of muscle hyperactivity,
- Static wrinkles that are the result of tissue volume loss.
Botulinum toxin type A (Botox ®), is a purified protein which is injecting into muscle in small quantities. The result of this process is to prevent and smooth mimic wrinkles.
In addition to botulinum toxin type A (Botox ®), there exists other methods for eliminating wrinkles. Some of them may be used together to improve and extend the effects. We propose to discuss with your doctor other available forms of therapy and the possibility of their combined use. For example, particularly good results can give botulinum toxin type A (Botox ®) and fillers on the basis of cross-linked hyaluronic acid (such as Juvéderm ® ULTRA). It allows for complete facial rejuvenation through the removal of both wrinkles mimic and static. In addition, this combination greatly increases the effects of anti-wrinkle treatment.

The protein contained in the preparation, is already used by more than 16 years and has been thoroughly tested for safety and efficacy. Like other medications, botulinum toxin type A (Botox ®), can cause side effects, which tells you the prescriber. The exact list of side effects is presented in the leaflet accompanying the package of Botox ®. By choosing an experienced doctor, we can reduce (but not eliminate) the risk of side effects.
If you experience any side effects, their nature is temporary and transitory mild or moderate. Most of these results is associated with the injection itselfs for example the pain during injection, redness or swelling after the injection. Other side effects such as upper eyelid ptosis may be due to displacement of the product beyond the specified muscle. This effect is also temporary.
